Signs That You May Be Experiencing Blood Sugar Issues
Blood sugar issues can present themselves in so many different ways. I remember when I first started this journey seeing a list of signs of blood sugar dysregulation and insulin resistance. As I read down that list I realized I had experienced EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Some of the most common symptoms are:
Frequent hunger
Hanger (not just hunger when you miss a meal)
Headache
Brain Fog
Cravings – particularly for carbs/sugar
Fatigue
Lightheadedness
Heart palpitations
Irritability
Lack of concentration
Nausea
Shakiness
Anxiety
Sweating (not due to weather or activity)
If you are or have experienced any of these you know it sucks. But the good news is you can get control over this – and it’s pretty simple - but not always easy – but I can tell you it’s worth the effort.
Finally being able to get control over my blood sugar issues has been a game changer for me. I’m not longer hangry all the time, I no longer have to make sure I have emergency food with me when I leave the house and if I have to miss a meals for whatever reason – its no biggie! I can tell you missing a meal before was a VERY BIG DEAL.
