Don't Underestimate The Power Of Small Changes
Every time I wanted to lose weight I’d go balls to the wall, try to change everything about my life, and do a complete 180 from one day to the next…
I guess I thought that the more changes I made the faster the weight would come off…
And you can probably guess how well that usually worked…
Making too many changes all at once is stressful, overwhelming and really hard to stick to.
Your brain starts to rebel and wants to send you right back to your comfort zone.
Trying to lose weight faster usually just ends up slowing things down.
We tend to discount the small changes that we make because we think: it’s not gonna be good enough, it’s gonna take too long, it’s not gonna make a difference…
But really making small changes over time that you can actually stick to is what can help you to lose the weight and keep it off - rather than being stuck in that lose-gain-lose-cycle.
Don’t underestimate the power of small changes.
