3 Things you can start doing tomorrow to start building healthy habits
Starting a weight loss journey can be overwhelming - especially if you have a lot of weight to lose.
Don’t over complicate it - you don’t need to overhaul your whole life all at once!
That's not necessary and often ends up biting you in the butt.
Making small doable changes not only makes it easier to stick to but they also help to build your confidence and momentum.
3 simple ideas that you can start doing tomorrow are:
Start your day with water, start with 8 oz and build up to 16. Drink naturally, don't guzzle. I know you may just want to down it real quick so you can get to your coffee, but try not to do that - that just leaves you feeling bloated and needing to pee.
Ditch the carby, sugary breakfast and focus on protein and fat. If you usually have something like cereal, oatmeal, or bagels (...or poptarts, donuts, or even a sugary coffee drink…) this starts your day off on the blood sugar rollercoaster and sets you up for more hunger and cravings for the rest of the day.
Take a 20 minute walk outside - this doesn’t have to be a power walk, just get outside, move your body, breathe the fresh air, and get the daylight on your skin and in your eyes (this helps with circadian rhythm). If need be you could even break this up into two 10 minute walks. Make it work for you!
